     I had rescued a Norwegian Elkhound a few months ago. He is a wonderful dog, but with my other rescue special needs dogs he was simply not getting the attention he needed. Thanks to Rescue Me! I found Prince a wonderful, loving home within a week. I interviewed several interested parties thru the site and after doing a home visit transferred him to a loving, caring family. They are keeping me posted on his progress and are in love with their new family member. Thank you RESCUE ME! for helping Prince find a loving, caring home.

     I posted Duke about a month ago and this week I received a call from someone in Ohio asking questions about Duke. Today 9-29-12 We (duke, myself and my husband) met this person at a halfway spot and Duke took to them right away. I believe that the family and Duke will be very happy together. Thanks Resuce Me!

     Hi Mr. Gold, Brownie was adopted today!! We are SO very excited for Brownie. We are in a rural, very large southeastern coastal NC town. Brownie's new wonderful parents saw his ad on RescueMe.Org and drove down to the shelter from Virginia, a good 4 hour+ drive. Not only did this kind-hearted couple give him a wonderful home, they also came with much needed food and donations for the shelter. A blessing all the way around. These folks are true Angels!!! Being a volunteer for a county-run kill shelter (while it is a low kill shelter thanks to the incredible work of the shelter manager, it is still a kill shelter), it is hard to get all of the wonderful, stunning, sweet animals out there for the public to know about, but with RescueMe.org's help, a sweet little shelter dog that was literally on death row is no longer a shelter dog tonight; he is a loved family member living on a 15 acre farm.
